WE’RE BACK! Starting Tuesday, June 1st the library will be back to our regular pre-Covid hours, so that’s: Monday/Wednesday/Friday 10-6pm, Tuesday/Thursday 10-7pm, and Saturdays 10-1pm. We will be following the CDC mask guidelines, which means we are asking all non-vaccinated people to continue wearing masks when in the library building.

Summer Reading begins on Monday, June 7th and will run until Wednesday, August 4th. This year you can choose to log your time reading either in person on paper like we have every year, but last year OR you can log your time virtually through Beanstack as we did last summer. Please do not attempt to use both methods, as that will confuse our registration numbers.

Each week stop in at the library to pick up a new craft and activity kit for the family. You can also earn tickets to put towards a chance to win a big prize by checking out materials, as we have in previous years. Showing your reading logs to the librarians will earn you drawer prizes, though those look a bit different this summer.

In person story times will resume on Wednesdays with a few modifications: the story times will take place outside on the library’s front lawn at 10:30am, this means that story time is subject to mother nature and may be cancelled due to bad weather on a week by week basis. Virtual story time via Facebook videos will continue for the foreseeable future.

For more information on our summer reading program check out our summer reading page or ask a librarian.

We’re super excited for this summer and we hope to see you soon!
